June Craig

Mr. June McClure Craig, 69, of Easter Road, died Sunday at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 23 from the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Craig was born April 2, 1940 in Forsyth County to Harvey McClure Craig and Elizabeth June Self Craig Only. He retired from PPG Industries after 30 years of service and was a veteran of US Army. He is survived by his wife, Marie McMasters Craig of the home; his son, Richard Craig of Lexington; his daughters, Wendy Queen of Linwood and Amy Craig of Lexington; his brother, Leonard Craig of Atlantic Beach; his sister, Magdalene Maxey of Kernesville; and his grandchildren, Chasity Queen, Caroline Craig, Taryn Craig, Victoria Lowery, Britney Covington, Madison Craig, and Chase Craig. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, Wendy Queen, on Nottingham Drive, Linwood.
