Juanita Simerson Snyder

Ruby Juanita Simerson Snyder, age 92, of Brian Center, Lexington and formerly of South NC Highway 150, Lexington, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 in the Brian Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16, at Reeds Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Steve Ackerman. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Snyder was born August 9, 1914 in Davidson County to Larry Simerson and Lura Mae Owen Simerson. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Reeds Baptist Church. Her husband, Eldred “Peanut” Snyder, and a brother, Woodrow Simerson, preceded in her death. She is survived by her sons, Mike Snyder and wife, Teresa, of Lexington; Bobby Snyder and wife, Avo, of Junction City, Kansas; Charles Snyder and wife, Suzanne, of Wake Forest; and Don Snyder and wife, Carol, of Lexington; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 PM Friday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home on Hwy 150 S., Lexington.
