Juanita Perrell

Juanita Huffman Perrell, 84 , of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Piedmont Funeral Home. Juanita was born April 26, 1939 to Arthur Roy Huffman and Minnie Sain Huffman. In her early years, she was employed in retail sales and worked at several cloth and craft supply stores in Lexington. Later, she was employed with Davidson County Community College where she retired after 10 years of service. She, also, was a faithful member of Yadkin College Baptist Church and was proud to have been one of its charter members. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Billy James Perrell, who passed November 12, 2022. She, also, was preceded by 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Billy Joe (Tonia) of Inman, SC and Keith (Rosalie) of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Meredith Phillips (Johnson) of Lexington and Rebecca Semones (Curtis) of Pfafftown; 3 brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
