Joseph Wilcox

Joseph Lee Wilcox, 81, of Belgian Drive, died Saturday January 14, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday January 22, 2017 at Rolling Heights Faith Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Wayne Sechrest officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service at the church. Mr. Wilcox was born in Todd, NC on August 30, 1935 to the late Clifford Wilcox and Maggie Parsons Wilcox. He was retired from PPG. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Wilcox, brothers, Clyde Parsons and Ford Wilcox. Surviving are daughters, Rhonda Wilcox of Clemmons; Wanda Wilcox of Lexington; sister, Maude Tysinger (Don) of Lexington; special niece, Betty Buchanan of Lexington; several nieces and nephews, special friends and family at Smokey Joe’s Barbecue.
