Joseph Clint Alexander, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2025, at Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, North Carolina. He was born on February 25, 1956, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to the late Kendall and Bessie Almon Alexander.

Joseph was a talented self-employed carpenter known for his exceptional craftsmanship and devotion to his trade. Beyond work, he found immense joy in sharing his love for music. He performed as a vocalist and keyboardist for the band, Second Time Around, where he played many types of music, but his heart belonged to Southern Gospel.  His passions extended beyond music; he found solace in the great outdoors, relishing the moments spent hunting and fishing.  

A member of Pilgrim Reformed Church, Joseph’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. He actively participated in church activities and fostered a deep sense of community among those he met.

Joseph leaves behind a loving family that includes his devoted wife, Lori Ward Alexander, who stood by him through every high and low. His son, Lyell Alexander, and daughter-in-law Christina, of Mississippi, continue his legacy along with treasured grandchildren: Andi and Graham Alexander, Brady, Paisley, and Sunnie Lillis, Brayden Collins, and Jason Cochran, who brought endless joy to his life. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken Alexander of Crofton, Kentucky, and David Gilkey, along with his wife Carolyn, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Wendall Alexander and his wife Kelly of Crofton, Kentucky, as well as many nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kendall and Bessie Almon Alexander, as well as his sister-in-love, Brenda Alexander.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation in the church parlor at Pilgrim Reformed Church located at 797 Pilgrim Church Road in Lexington, NC, on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. with the funeral service following at 3:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pilgrim Reformed Church, 797 Pilgrim Church Road, Lexington, NC 27295.

Joseph Clint Alexander will be profoundly missed, but his loving spirit, unwavering faith, and the memories shared will forever remain a guiding light for his family and friends. The legacy he leaves is one of love, laughter, and an abiding passion for life well lived.
