Joni Beth Swicegood

Joni Beth Swicegood, 55 of Lexington, died Wednesday morning at Brian Center of Lexington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Chris Bitterman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Joni was born in Davidson County on May 21, 1959 to Verne Clavin Swicegood and Elsie Lookabill Swicegood.She was preceded in death by her father, Verne and brother, Michael Swicegood. She was a member of Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her mother, Elsie Lookabill Swicegood of Lexington; Nephew, Robbie Swicegood and wife Connie of Florida; and great-nieces Brittney and Kaitlyn Swicegood of Florida.
