Johnny Michael King

Johnny Michael King, 53, a resident of R.L. Norris Road, Linwood, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:03 AM, in Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 14, 2007 in the Chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home with Rev. David Edwards officiating and Jennifer Koontz as soloist. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Johnny was born in Cherokee County, NC on March 8, 1954 to the late Harold King and Mozelle Morrow King. He was an employee of Shumaker’s and was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. In addition to his father, preceding him in death was a daughter, Lisa Marie King and a brother, Harold King, Jr.. He is survived by his loving wife, Imogene Ratcliff King of the home; a daughter, Amanda Cuzzen and her husband, Michael of Lexington; his mother, Mozelle Morrow King of Mocksville; two brothers, Robbie King and his wife, Debra of Mocksville; and Timmy King and his wife, Rhonda of Linwood; a sister, Mary Ellen Edwards and her husband, Rev. David Edwards of Mocksville. Also surviving are a sister in law, Roberta King of Lexington, wife of the late Harold King, Jr., and two grandchildren, Zack and Cole Cuzzen. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home.
