John Junior Lang

John Junior Lang, 92, of Ward Curry Road, died Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday March 6, 2017 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with evangelist Richard Wilson and pastor Shirley Lang officiating. Burial will be in the Campbell Family Cemetery in Chesterfield ,SC. Family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Lang was born in Anson County on July 26, 1924 to the late John Rufus Lang and Sarah Purvis Lang. He was retired from Cunningham Brick Co., he was a member of Lexington Pentecostal Church of the Living God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle H. Lang, son, John Larry Lang, granddaughter, Alicia Lang, two brothers and six sisters. Surviving are sons, Wayne Lang (Shirley) of Lexington, Eugene Lang (Bernice) and Nathan Lang (Sherry) of Thomasville, daughter, Lois Dianne Leonard ( George) of Lexington, brother, Ed Lang of Chesterfield,SC., 12 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren and 14 great great- grandchildren.
