John "J.B." Bailey

John B. Bailey, 62 , of Old Salisbury Road, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 28 at Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Renee Easter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mr. Bailey was born August 7, 1949 in Davidson County to John B. Bailey and Irene Swicegood Bailey. He was the owner/operator of JB Electrical Company. He is survived by his wife, Janice Bingham Bailey of the home; his special cousins, Linda Jones and husband, Wayne, and their daughter, Carol Hunt, and husband, Mark, and children, Bailey and Austin, R.V. Potter and his sons, Michael Potter, and Keith Potter, and wife, Shelia, and daughter, Kallie; a host of cousins and extended family members; his step-son, Quincy Long, and his cats, Lucky, Snowflake, Tabby Tabby, and Squirmy.
