John Larry Booe

John Larry Booe, 74, of Caitlin Ln., formally of Giles Rd., passed away Tuesday at Duke University Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, at Piedmont Funeral Home chapel, with preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park following the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Larry was born in Davie Co. on June 22, 1947, to the late John Lee Booe and Lola Jordan Booe. He was a retired truck driver with Harris Teeter. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Gene Booe and Dwane Booe, and sisters, Wanda Booe Thompson and Judy Booe Younts. Surviving is his sister Rita Younts (Gary) of Lexington, along with multiple nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
