Joe David Pope

Joe David Pope, 61 of Moore Dr., died Saturday at his home. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 9,2013 at Freedom Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Joe was born in Davidson County on August 5, 1951 to the late Darrell Pope and Daphine Lookabill Pope. He was a retired co-owner of Wayside Service Station. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are brother Johnny Pope ( Kim) of Lexington; and step- sister, Kaffee Cope ( Scott ) of Lexington; uncles,David Lookabill, Jimmy Lookabill, and Jeffrey Lookabill ; and aunt, Elsie Swicegood.
