Jimmy Dean Lookabill

Mr. Jimmy Dean Lookabill, 65, of Southmont died Monday, April 23, 2018, at High Point Regional Health Systems.  A funeral service will be held  Friday, April 27, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Tony Sparks. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM before the service at the funeral home.   Mr. Lookabill was born in Davidson County May 18, 1952, to the late Grover and Carrie Potts Lookabill.  A  U.S. Army Veteran, he was of the Methodist faith and was employed as an auto body repairman for Larry Walker and Sons, Inc. He was a very kind and loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many, with a big heart and a love for the outdoors, especially fishing.  In addition to his parents he was predeceased by  three brothers and five sisters.   Surviving are son, Kenneth Lookabill and wife Kim, brother, David Lookabill and wife Martha, sister Elsie Swicegood, and grandson Kenneth Collin Lookabill all of Lexington. In addition he is also survived by a step- daughter and her children, and his significant other Beth Souther and her family.
