Jimmy Earles

Mr. James Gordon “Jimmy” Earles, 58, of Twelve Oaks Drive, Linwood, died suddenly at his home on Friday, January 2, 2009. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 7 from the Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Vernon Ball. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Earles was born on November 13, 1950 in Christiansburg, VA to Donald Gordon Earles and Lois Marie Walker Earles. He was an employee of Myers Tool and Machine in Lexington and a loving father, brother and son. Surviving are his wife, Linda Ferrell Earles of the home; his parents of Virginia; his sons, Jeremy Scott Earles of Franklin County, VA, and James Stacy Gravely of Vinton, VA; his daughters, Ginger Deneen Earles Loan of Radford, VA, Billie Simerson of Lexington, and Jo Coble of Linwood; his brothers, Joey Stephen Earles of Pulaski, VA, and Johnny Ray Earles of Christiansburg, VA; his sisters, Wanda Marie Furrow of Knoxville, TN, and Vicky Lynn Waller of Pulaski, VA; and his grandchildren, Tyler Ray Dwier, Sarah Mae Earles, Donovan Alexander Earles, Justin and Adam Loan, Scott, Dylan, and Courtney Gravely, Casey, Cody, and Chasity Coble, Shane Moore, and Travis Lambeth. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home.
