Jerry Bryce Owens

Jerry Bryce Owens,80, of Wafford Circle died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Cotton Grove United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Richard Blount. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Jerry was born March 23, 1935 in Davidson County to James Cleveland Owens and Annie Catherine Beck Owens. He was a retired supervisor with the former Proctor and Schwartz Company, and a member of Lexington Masonic Lodge 473. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Noel James Owens, three brothers, and seven sisters. Surviving are his wife Ollie Kinney Owens of the home; sons Rodney Bryce Owens (Jeroldine), Timothy Scott Owens (Stephanie), and daughter Terri Leigh Owens all of Lexington. Also surviving are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
