Mr. Jerry David Livengood. 63, of Yadkin College Road, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness. A private service will be held at a later date. Jerry was born January 20, 1945 in Davie County to Odell and Martha Livengood. He was employed with Lexington Home Brands for 47 years. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was loved by many in the Yadkin College Community and he helped several elderly friends and neighbors in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Patricia and Pansy Livengood, and his brothers, Ray, Bill, and Carlton Livengood. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Pressley Livengood; his son, Marty Livengood, and his girlfriend, Krista Cutro, of Lexington; his daughters, Tina Page, of Lexington and Annette McCullough and husband, Mark of Ohio; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; his sisters, Becky Lookabill and husband, Bill, Doris Wood, and husband, Clinton, Patsy Myers, and husband, Richard, Rita James, and husband, Arnold, Judy Queen and husband Jack, and Kathy Leonard, and husband, Terry; his brother, Eugene Livengood of Henderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the home on Yadkin College Road.
