Jennie Woody Morgenson

Jennie Ruth Woody Morgenson, 80, of Turner Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Tabor United Church of Christ, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lloyd Spencer. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Morgenson was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Herndon, Kan., to Frank Woody Sr. and Corinne Bonser Woody. She was a retired office manager from Coble Dairy, Foam-Tech and Southeastern Installations. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Wayne Morgenson, and her son, Melvin Morgenson. Surviving are her daughter, Tina Gobble and her husband, Jeff, of Lexington, and two grandsons, Ryan Noah Gobble and Keelan Wayne Gobble. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home on Tuner Road.
