Jennie Lee Lofton

Jennie Lee Trexler Lofton,93, of Hawthorne Lane passed away Tuesday at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday August 22, 2023 at Lexington City Cemetery, with Rev. David Langley officiating. Burial will follow after the graveside service. Jennie was born in Davidson County to the late John Moyer Trexler and Jennie Pickett Trexler. She retired as church secretary at North Lexington Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lofton, son, Johnny Lofton. Surviving are sons, Michael Lofton and wife Jackie of Glade Valley, NC, William “Billy” Lofton of Lexington, daughter, Debra L. Able and husband Phillip of Charlotte, granddaughter, Brandi Lofton Cartrette and husband John of Lexington, great-grandchildren, John Michael Cartrette and Jonathan Aaron Cartrette.
