Jean Fritts

Gloria Jean Rogers Fritts, 82, of Lexington died Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at The Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday February 24, 2024 at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Pastors David Robinson and Lark Lewis. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:50 prior to the service. Inurnment will be private. Jean was born September 26, 1941 in Davidson County to the late Henry Hearst Rogers, Sr. and Nell Gentry Rogers. She was a former veterinary technician with Jordan Animal Hospital and a member of Paul’s Chapel Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers. Surviving are sons Timothy Scott Fritts (Stefanie) of Lexington, and David Holton Fritts (Ashley) of Southport; daughter, Tammy Jo Cox (Chris) of Ramseur, in addition to grandchildren Jeremy Fleming (Amanda), Daniel Cox (Leigha), Ryan Cox (Shelia), Zach Fritts (Trisha), Logan Fritts (Victoria), Lindsay Pritchard (Tyler), Jessica Fritts, Jordan Fritts, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
