Janice Marlene Hartley

Janice Marlene Dockery Hartley,67, of Curtis Drive passed away Monday June 22, 2020 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Southside Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Jerry Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family receive friends from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Janice was born in Murphy, NC to the late Lonnie and Ethel Higdon Dockery. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Brookstone Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin G. Hartley, brother, Dickie Dockery. Surviving are sons, Franklin O. Hartley and Jeff Hartley (Christy) of Lexington, daughter, Jennifer Walters of Lexington, brothers, Harold Dockery, Kenneth Dockery, Donnie Dockery and Billy Dockery, grandchildren, Christa Hartley, Jacob Hartley, Russell Hartley, Tabitha Walters and Jeremy Walters.
