Janet Lynn Tessener

Janet Lynn Richards Tessener, 56, of Lenox Court, passed away Friday at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date at her church. Janet was born in Blacksburg, SC on June 24, 1963 to the late JG Richards and Hettie Rose Patterson Richards. She was formerly employed with Hayward Pool Products, was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, and was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Short. Surviving are husband David Tessener of the home; sons Eric Tessener (Taylor) of Clemmons, Joseph Short of Raleigh, and Victor Tessener of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters April Russ (TJ) of Kings Mountain and Rhonda Downs (John Dyer) of Shelby; brothers Jimmy Richards of Gastonia, and Michael Richards of Kings Mountain; sisters Sherry Messer (Alan) of Kings Mountain, and Beverly Ford of Rutherfordton; sixteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
