James N. Snider

James N. Snider, 69 of Walnut Grove Road, Lexington died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Smith. The family will be at the home. James was born July 7, 1946 in Stanley County, NC to the late James Roby Snider, Jr. and Bessie Coggins Snider. Also preceding him in death was his wife Caloua Sue Grubb Snider on June 20, 2015 and an infant brother. James was of the Baptist faith and loved fishing and yardwork. He is survived by two daughters, Bessie Tolbert (Shannon) of Lexington, and Tammy Sue Hughes (Joe) of Newland, NC; son Michael Snider of Lexington;10 grandchildren, Justin Snider, Morgan Duffey, Samantha Meyer, Kristopher Tolbert, Destinee Tolbert, Keisha Cook, Junior Cook, Calvin Cook, Tylor Cook, and Myra Cook; and 9 great- grandchildren.
