James Walter Mckee

James Walter McKee of Broad Street died Saturday, October 18 at his home. He was 60. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 27, at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. James was born in Forsyth County on September 28, 1948 to Exie Joseph McKee and Mary McKnight McKee. He was a former employee of Cardinal Container and was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam. James was a member of Manna Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Preceding him in death was his father, and a son, Walter Mitchell McKee. James is survived by his wife, Brenda Condrey McKee, of the home, his son, Joseph Gilbert McKee, of the home, his mother, Mary McKnight McKee, of Winston-Salem, two brothers, Jerry McKee and his wife, Becky and Ronnie McKee and his wife, Cheryl, all of Winston-Salem. The family will be at the home of Vicky Leonard, 815 Hargrave Street, Lexington.
