James Wesley Hoffman

James Wesley Hoffman of Foy avenue, died Wednesday, September 24. He was 51. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 2, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home, conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. James was born in Davidson County on June 13, 1957 to the late Henry Clayton Hoffman and Betty Jo Brooks. He was a former employee of the furniture Industry and he attended the Original Church of God. James is survived by sons, James Fones of Welcome and Michael Hoffman of Arcadia, a daughter, Amanda Hoffman of Lexington, a brother, Leroy Brooks of Salisbury, two sisters, Lisa Money and Linda Eagle both of Salisbury. Also surviving is a grandson, Cristian Hoffman. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, from 6 until 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at 409 Foy Avenue.
