Jack Cannon

Mr. Elvage Lothair “Jack” Cannon, 96, of Young Drive, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at Lexington Memorial Hospital after declining health. A funeral service will be held in Maryville, Tennessee at a later date. Mr. Cannon was born October 14, 1914 in Memphis, Tennessee to Palestine Sylvester Cannon and Bertha Mae Turner Cannon. He retired from Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division and was a member of Maryville Church of Christ in Maryville, TN. His wife, Irene Savage Cannon, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Gregg of Lexington and Elizabeth Ann Sullins January of Amory, Mississippi; his son, James Hugh Cannon of Maryville, Tennessee; his sister, Pauline Rowzee of California; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
