Irene Rosekrans Sink

Irene Rosekrans Sink , 88 of St. Marks Rd., died Friday June 29, 2012 at Trinity Glen in Winston Salem. A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday July 2, 2012 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Daniel Pugh officiating. Mrs. Sink was born in Scranton,Pa. on March 8, 1924 to the late Robert Rosekrans and Ellen Reynolds Rosekrans. She was the oldest of six and the last surviving child. Also preceding her in death are her husband , Harrell Lee Sink and her son, Harrell Lee Sink II. She was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church in Winston Salem, and she was a gray lady volunteer at Lexington Memorial Hospital . She loved music, painting, sewing and crocheting ; she was also a homemaker. Surviving are son, Matthew W. Sink; daughter, Rosemary Hinkle and husband Bill of Welcome; grandchildren, Michelle Spencer and husband Tim of Welcome, and Lisa Hairston and husband Jon of Winston Salem. Also surviving are great- grandchildren, Amelia Spencer and Garrett Spencer.
