Ira Donald Swicegood

Mr. Ira Donald Swicegood, 86, of Hwy. 150 South, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. There are no services planned at this time. Mr. Swicegood was born in Davidson County April 7, 1934 to the late Japhia Ira and Beaulah Leonard Swicegood. He was of the Methodist faith, and had retired from the former Dixie-Linwood Corporation. Surviving are two sons, Robert Donald Swicegood (Patsy) of Jackson Springs, NC, and Randall Lee Swicegood (Tina) of Lexington; daughters Peggy Fay Swicegood and Bonnie Carol Swicegood both of Lexington; sister Joann Conrad of Lexington; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Mary Frances Trantham Swicegood of Lexington.
