Hugh Edwin Mosley

Mr. Hugh Edwin “Rick” Mosley, 74, of Highway 8 died Friday, November 01, 2019 at his home under Hospice Care, surrounded by his loving family.  A visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 4 until 5:30 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.  Mr. Mosley was born July 24, 1945 in Stokes County to the late Harold Edwin Mosley and Mary Myers Davis. He was of the Christian Faith, and a former crew leader with Pike Electric Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father Buddy Davis. Rick loved the outdoors, and especially hunting with his sons.  Surviving are his wife, Emily Louise Burger Mosley of the home; sons Joseph Mosley (Ashley) of Archdale, Francesco Cassar of Lexington, and Aladino Cassar (Tammy) of Asheboro; and daughter Mary Ann Ivey (Josh) of Lexington. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.
