Helen Teresa “Aunt Teat” Taylor, age 94, a resident of Buena Vista Drive, Lexington, formerly of Curry Street, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Sanford and Rev. Larry Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Miss. Taylor was born in Davidson County, NC on September 1, 1912 to the late Ernest and Ella Beck Taylor. She was a retired employee of Wenonah Cotton Mill and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and she attended Westside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were 1 sister and 2 brothers. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are several great great great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at 108 Buena Vista Drive, Lexington.
