Helen Maxine Goodman

Helen Maxine Goodman, 85, of Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Lexington City Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Arnold Gosnell. Mrs. Goodman was born March 9, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Michael Goodman and brother, Paul Williams. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are son, Gwen Michael Goodman of Lexington; sisters, Athleen Robertson of Elkin, and JoAnn Saunders of Salisbury; one grandson; one great-grandaughter; sister-in-law, Ruby Williams of Lexington; and legal guardian, Raye Leonard of Lexington.
