Our mother, Grace Cox, passed away on December 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Cox, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Luther Myers, and siblings, Gladys Snider, Jo Shoaf, Cleo Strange, Eula Sanders, Carnie Myers and Reid Myers. She was also preceded by a niece, Hazel Everhart and nephew, Bruce Myers, who spent much of their young lives with her. She is survived by a son, James Gilbert Cox (Jimmy) and his wife,Harvie Ann of Moultrie, Georgia; daughters, Sandra Blackwelder, Jan Huffman and husband Tommy Huffman, grandchildren, Julie Huneycutt and husband David, Michael Blackwelder, Courtney Cox Harden and husband Sam, great grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Huneycutt, Hannah Miley, Noah and Ava Katherine Harden. Many nieces and nephews who were very faithful to remain in contact and visit with her. Mother worked as a beautician for over 60 years and made many lifetime friends. She attended Reeds Baptist Church, St. Andrews Reform Church and was a member of First Baptist church at the time of her death. A private service was held at Forest Hill memorial Park.
