Gary Davis

Mr. Gary K. Davis, age 64 of Riverview Blvd., Lexington, NC died Thursday, June 18 at his residence. Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday (6-21-2009) at Parklawn Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Parklawn. Gary was born August 2, 1944 in Forsyth County to Charles Calvin Davis and Lazankle English “Tink” Davis. He was a self employed and a retired brick mason. He was of the Moravian Faith. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Tommie Davis of Clemmons; two sons, Kent Davis and fiance Denisa Watkins of Winston-Salem; and Greg Davis and wife Heidi of Lexington; one daughter, Tracy Davis of Winston Salem; three granddaughters, Wisdom, Myth and Tru Davis all of Lexington; one sister Karen Madden of Winston Salem; two brothers; Randy Davis and wife Cindy of King and their children, Elizabeth Frye of Winston Salem and Reid Davis of King; and brother Tim Davis of Charlotte; one aunt Ruth Mundy of Clemmons and one uncle, Spencer Davis and wife Helen of Pfafftown. The family will receive friends at Piedmont Funeral Home Saturday night from 6 until 8 pm and at other times at the home.
