Gary Lee Blankenship

Gary Lee Blankenship, 68, of Flicker Lane died Saturday June 22, 2013 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gary was born in Danville, Ky. On December 22, 1944 to Harold Blankenship and Maxine Broughton Blankenship. He was formerly employed with BASF Chemical Company and was a member of Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his Father, Harold and a sister, Nancy Hillman. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Ann Rost Blankenship of the home; son, Brad Blankenship (Leslie) of Thomasville; daughters, Teresa Parrish (Steven) of Willow Spring, NC; Robin Maness (Herbert) of Lexington; mother, Maxine Broughton Blankenship of Broaddus, Texas; granddaughter, Taylor Marie Blankenship of Thomasville; brothers, James Blankenship (Brenda) of Middletown, Ohio; Donald Blankenship (Wanda) of Broaddus, Texas; David Blankenship (Monica) of Lexington.
