Franklin Mock Church

Mr. Franklin Mock Church, 74, of 1st Circle, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Due to the Coronavirus mandate from Governor Cooper, a private family graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park, conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. A public memorial service and visitation will be held at a later date. Mr. Church was born January 31, 1946 in Davidson County to the late Roy Lee Church, Sr. and Ruby Potts Church. He was of the Christian faith, and had retired from PGT Industries. He was also a former volunteer fireman with the Holly Grove Fire Department. Surviving are son Ricky Franklin Church and wife Christina of Lexington; brothers Ray Church, Roy Lee Church, Jr. (Barbara), George Church (Sharon), Robert Church (Susan), James Church (Pamela), and Tim Church (Sharon) all of Lexington; sisters Sherry Rolph, Debbie Gilley, and Ida Purdue (“Peewee”) all of Lexington; and granddaughters Kristin and Natalie Church. Memorials may be made to Lexington Dialysis Center, 233 Anna Lewis Dr., Lexington, NC 27292, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
