Francesco Antonio Cassar

Francesco Antonio Cassar, 54, of Lexington died Monday, May 15, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A memorial service will be held Friday at 4:00 PM in The Timberlake Chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home with military honors rendered by The Davidson County Honor Guard. The family will be receiving friends and family beginning at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Cassar was born in Forsyth County August 16, 1968 to Antonio A. Cassar of Italy and Emily Burger Mosley. He was a US Army Veteran of Operation Desert Storm and employed by Carolina Vehicle Equipment Company. In addition to his parents, surviving are son Nathaniel Cassar of Lexington; daughters, Amelia Cassar of Lexington, and Jennifer Riffe of China Grove; brothers, Aladino C. Cassar (Tammy) of Asheboro, Joseph E. Mosley (Ashley) of Thomasville, Andrea Cassar (Armand) of Washington, DC, and Anthony Cassar of Fla. Also surviving are sisters Mary Ann Ivey (Josh) of Lexington, and Roberta Cassar Ferguson (Obie) of Raleigh, in addition to grandchildren Kaelyn, Connor, Grant, Madalynn, and Mabry, and his fiance’ Lisa Valladores.
