Frances Paulette Queen

Frances Paulette Queen 61 of Hoover Dr. died Wednesday October 26,2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 1,2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM prior to the service. Pallbearers are Eddie Torralba Sr.,Eugene Torralba, Eddie Torralba,Jr.,Chad Torralba, Justin Miller,Terry Farrell and Tony Queen. Paulette was born July 22,1950 to Paul and Frances Torralba in Lawton,Oklahoma. Paulette had a degree in Early Childhood Development and loved caring for children. She was a very special woman in many respects. Her gentle spirit and generous nature were apparent to all who knew her. She was a woman of great faith and avid listener of the Bible Broadcasting Network (BBN,95.5 FM) The Bible was clearly central to her life. Paulette also kept a lovely yard with beautiful plants and flowers enjoyed by everyone. She took special joy in caring for her companion dog, Charlie. Paulette and Danny were fond of frequently dining out at the Silver Diner in Lexington.They enjoyed visiting with Danny’s family in Franklin,NC. Paulette often helped folks she hardly knew, as evidence of her selflessness. Paulette was a proud member of the Comanche Nation. She will be sadly missed by everyone whose life she touched. Preceding her in death are her parents , brothers, Christopher Torralba, Kenneth Torralba and sister; Christina Torralba. Surviving are her beloved husband of 42 years Danny Queen of the home, and their special dog, Charlie, son; Daniel and wife Connie,grandchildren; Heather,Ashley and Nathaniel of Elyria,Oh. Brothers; Richard and wife Eleanor Torralba of Chickasha, Ok., Eddie Torralba of Mocksville, Eugene and wife Eleanor Torralba of Westville,Ok., sisters; Mary Thorp of Fletcher, Ok., Delores Bates of Story City,Io, Shirley and husband Kenneth Gregory of Steigler, Ok. Lavonna Klienkole of Apache, Ok. Connie and husband Terry Farrell of Mocksville, Judy Torralba of Mattoon, Il. , and many other family members and friends. Special thanks to Eddie (Tootsie) Torralba Jr. and his wife Sharlene for their loving assistance in making funeral arrangements.
