Evelyn Marie Dorsett

Evelyn Marie Johnson Dorsett,80, of Sowers Rd. died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Lexington Health Care.  A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday June 9, 2018 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.  Mrs. Dorsett was born in Davidson County on September 12, 1937 to the late Ervin J. Johnson and Georgia Cross Johnson. She was a past member of Lakeview Baptist  Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim Dorsett.  Surviving are her sons, Jason Craig Dorsett  (Angie) of Lexington, Timothy Darin Dorsett (Sharon) of Ronda, NC, sisters,  Dottie Ribelin and Ruth Byerly of Lexington, grandchildren, Kayden,Chris, Brittany, Devyn, Michael and Casey, 8 great-grandchildren.  Memorials may be made to, Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington,NC 27292.
