Eugene Williams

Nathan Eugene "Little Rabbit" Williams, 46, of Sink Farm Road, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a critical illness of two days. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at East End Baptist Church by the Revs. Timothy W. Gainey and Claude Junior Garrett. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Williams was born in Davidson County on May 24, 1960, to Joyce Burrage Williams and Nathan Warren Williams of Lexington. He was employed with Wingfoot Commercial Tire in Salisbury. Mr. Williams also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cindy Bruce Williams. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Paula Mash Williams of the home; one daughter, Brittany Nicole Williams of the home; one sister, Crystal Williams Gantt and her husband, Kendall, of Lexington; two brothers, Darrell Spencer Williams and Carrell Ray Williams and his wife, Melissa, all of Lexington; and one nephew, Riley Gantt of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the parents' home on Hillsdale Drive in Tyro.
