Eugene Thomas Moll, Sr.

Mr. Eugene Thomas Moll, Sr., 83, of Michael Lane died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his home.  A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Thursday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Michael Duffield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Moll was born August 27, 1935 in Berks County, PA to the late James and Anna Moll. A member of Victory On The Frontline Church, he was a retired  mechanic  and was also formerly affiliated with The Ringling Brothers Circus. He also helped as a volunteer coach with little league baseball in the Lexington area and was a former semi-pro boxer. Predeceasing him were a son, Robert Moll, four brothers, and five sisters.  Surviving are his wife, Margaret O’Neal Moll of the home; sons Tom Moll (Allison), Greg Moll (Meg), Tim Moll (Tammy), all of Reading, PA, Chris Palm of FL, Daniel Moll (Valerie), Eugene Moll, Jr. (Amanda), and Keith Moll (Clara) all of Lexington; daughters, Cindy Urzillo (Robert), Sandy Moll-Kidd, and Kathi Minniger all of Reading, PA, Amy Moll and Kathryn Johnson (Erik) both of Lexington; thirty-eight grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Ernest Moll of Reading, PA, step-son Paul Carter (Dianne) of Lexington, and step-daughter Marinda Carter of the home.
