Esther Jannell Strickland

Esther Jannell McAbee Strickland, 74, of Cotton Grove Road, died Monday at Brookstone Retirement Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Strickland was born in Greenville, S.C. on May 18, 1939, to the late James Grady Strickland and Thelma Louise Whiteside Strickland. Surviving are sons, James Alexander Strickland and Anthony Dwayne Strickland both of Lexington; sister, Rachel Thompson of Lexington; one grandson and one great grandaughter.
