Ernest Joseph Sylvia, Iii

Ernest Joseph Sylvia, III of Yadkinville entered his eternal rest on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Bermuda Commons in Advance, North Carolina.

Ernest was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on March 2, 1943 to the late Ernest Joseph Sylvia, II and Irene Dube Sylvia.  Ernest was an accomplished self-employed artist and a policeman for three years in the state of Florida.  He was preceded in death by his daughters, Nicolette Callahan and Cynthia Sylvia.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Annette Adams Sylvia of the home, sons, Todd Sylvia (Christy), Mark Sylvia, and Eric Sylvia, all of Florida, daughters, Lori Sylvia of Florida, Nannette Gibson (Brian), Nancette Hemming (Scott), Krystal Holcomb (Christopher), Misty Dinkins (Phillip) and Candice Ramseur (Aubry), all of North Carolina, and a brother, Gerald Sylvia (Laurette) of Clemmons; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
