Erma Henderson.71, of Tussey Road passed away Sunday, June 12,2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Freedom Baptist Church conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Henderson was born in West Virginia on September 30, 1950 to the late Wylie Lee Burchett and Geneva West Burchett. She was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Spencer and Alessa and sister, Juanita Burchett. Surviving are her husband, William Henderson, Jr. of the home; son, William Spencer “Billy” Brownlow (Amber) of Lexington, daughters, Lisa Bailey (William), Brandy Garris (Matthew) all of Lexington, and daughter-in-law Melissa Gardner; brother, Bobby Lee Burchett of Thomasville; sister, Paula Burchett of Lexington; and grandchildren, Jason, Wylie (Skye), Bradley, Cameron, Branson, Skylar (Ryan), Arya, and Natalie. Also surviving are her special caregiver friends.
