Emma Mae Worley

Emma Mae Kimberlin Worley, 87, of Mount Carmel Church Road, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Elton Wilborne. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Worley was born March 17, 1919, in Ashe County. She was a homemaker and attended Charity Baptist Church in Archdale. Her husband, David S. Worley, preceded her in death. Surviving are six daughters, Billie Tetter, Peggy Robinson, Judy Milam, Libby Johnson and Valerie Hedrick, all of Lexington, and Bobbie Winebarger of Boone; two sons, Archie Kimberlin of Virginia and Wayne Worley of Peachland; 27 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
