Elsie Lookabill Swicegood,90, of Sink Inn Road passed away Friday June 12, 2020 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 16, 2020 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. George Sayour officiating. A public viewing will be held from 9:30 until10:45 AM at Piedmont Funeral Home. Elsie was born in Davidson County on January 27, 1930 to the late Grover Lookabill and Carrie Potts Lookabill. She was a member of Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne Swicegood, son, Mike Swicegood and daughter, Joni Beth Swicegood, brothers, Charles Lookabill, Jeff Lookabill, Jim Lookabill and Alfred Lookabill, sisters, Marie Curry, Daphine Pope, Ruth Sink, Maxie Lemly and Mable McGee. Surviving are her grandson, Robbie Swicegood and wife connie Of Florida, brother, David Lookabill (Martha) of Lexington great-grandchildren, Brittney and Kaitlyn Swicegood of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
