Mrs. Elsie Shoaf Leonard, 91, of Lexington died Friday, December 4, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A private double memorial service will be held at a later date at Christian Baptist Church by the Rev. Sam Harvey. Mrs. Leonard was born in Davidson County January 1, 1929 to the late Baxter and Lillian Reid Shoaf. She had retired as a sales clerk at the former National Outlet of Lexington and was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethern. Preceding her in death were husband Ottis Leonard; brothers Hulin, Russell, Woodrow, and Reid Shoaf; and sisters Aileen Craver, Ruth Lambeth, O’Dessa Shoaf, Letha Walser, and Lula Mae Walser. Special friend, Charlie Beckom also preceded her in death on November 30, 2020. Surviving are her daughter Diane Younts (Kent Everhart) of Lexington; granddaughter Chasity Little and husband Scott of Lexington; and two precious grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Little.
