Elsie Mae Cagle

Elsie Mae Tilley Cagle, 83, formerly of Arnold Road, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Lexington Health Care. A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2012 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers and Rev. Darrell Cartrette. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Cagle was born October 4, 1928 in Davidson County to the late Tyler M. and Margie Taylor Tilley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Cagle; a grandson, Tony Wallace; and her brothers. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sons, William Cagle, and Billy Cagle and wife Rayenell; six daughters, Louise Wallace, Gladys Hanes and husband Steve, Joyce Parsons and husband Jimmy, Ravonne Everhart, Mary Wilson and husband Bobby, and Faye Lockhart and husband Chris, all of Lexington; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
