Eloise Snider

Mrs. Eloise Davis Snider, 88, of Liberty Commons of Rowan County, formerly of the Churchland community died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the nursing center. A graveside service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Snider Family Cemetery in Churchland conducted by Elder David Anderson. The family will greet friends after the service. Mrs. Snider was born in Rowan County June 2, 1933 to the late Thomas Raymond and Beulah Wilson Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lowe Snider, and a son Bobby G. Snider. A homemaker, she was a member of Yadkin Methodist Church, and attended Pine Primitive Baptist Church most of her life. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, and was gifted in writing poetry and had written dozens of poems. Surviving are sons Danny Snider (Kathy) and Dale Snider (Tammy) all of Churchland; grandchildren Phil Snider, Kelly James (Chris), Cristy Myers (Alex), Candis Rogers (Benji), Drew Snider (Amanda), and Heather Hardister (Matthew); thirteen great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Pam Snider. Memorials may be made to the Snider Family Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers at Liberty Commons.
