Elizabeth Ann Shoaf

Miss Elizabeth Ann Shoaf, age 78, of Lexington went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 10, 2018 at Abbotts Creek Care.  A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Frankie Matthews. Private interment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Ms. Shoaf was born on January 14, 1940 in Davidson County to the late Wiley Frank and Mary Elizabeth Michael Shoaf. She was a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from Sheets Memorial Christian School where she taught for many years.  Surviving are her brothers Charles F. Shoaf (Carole) of Lexington, and Larry E. Shoaf (Brenda) of Virginia Beach , VA, and her sister Marilyn R. Silk (John) of Lexington. Also surviving are 8 nieces and nephews.  The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Abbotts Creek for their care and attention to Ann over the past several years.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Cotton Grove Rd., Lexington, NC  27292.
