Eleanor Ruth Burton

Eleanor Ruth Allen Burton 86 of Statesville Blvd, Salisbury passed away Sunday at Glenn A Kiser Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. Billy Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow after the service. Eleanor was born in Rowan County on November 7, 1938 to the late Ervin Walter Allen and Helen McDaniel Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband James Burton and her son Chris Burton. She was a retired employee with PPG and attended West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell. Surviving is her son, Gary Wayne Burton of Ramseur, niece, Debbie Shephard of Mocksville.
