Earlene Swicegood Swicegood, 75, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Lexington Memorial Hospital after a one day illness. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 14, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Howard Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 P.M. prior to the service in the Church Sanctuary. Mrs. Swicegood was born on March 4, 1937 in Davidson County to the late Earl Lee Swicegood and Viola Mae Leonard Swicegood. She was a life long member of St. Lukes’s Lutheran Church where she served in many areas. She was a graduate of Reeds High School and was retired from the cafeteria at West Davidson High School. Earlene is survived by her husband William H. “Bill” Swicegood, of the home; two sons, Tim Swicegood and wife Cynthia and David Swicegood and wife Jaime of Lexington, one daughter, Kathy Koonts and her husband Tim of Lexington, one brother, Alfred Aldene Swicegood and his wife Pat ,of Waynesboro, VA.; Five grandchildren, Amber and Troy Swicegood, Megan and Taylor Koonts, and Will Swicegood.
