HEADING: Doris Smith Wilson Mrs. Doris Smith Wilson, 77, of Hargrave Road, died Monday, December 12 at the Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 17 at Psalm 91 Church, by the Revs. Max Shoaf, Renee Easter and Wayne Sechrest. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service. Mrs. Wilson was born June 21, 1934 in Davidson County to Leroy and Maggie Greer Smith. She retired from Lexington State Bank. She was a member of Linwood United Methodist Church and attended Psalm 91 Church. She was well known for making cloth dolls and quilts. She was very active in the Senior Country Store, where she volunteered her time for many years. Her parents and her brother, Jackie Wayne Smith, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Ray Stewart Wilson, of the home ; her son, James Bost Wilson and wife, Kathy, of Lexington; her daughter, Margaret Wilson Sink and husband, Ronald, of Lexington; her grandchildren, Justin Sink and fiancée, Megan, Geoffrey Sink, and Aimee Sink; her great grandchild, Reilly Sink; and several nieces and a nephew. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Country Store, 6031 Old Highway 52, Lexington NC 27292. The family would like to think Valli Watson at the Hinkle Hospice House for her care and support.
